Owned and operated by Rich (Pinky) and Terry Ruggles, Pinky's is a favorite destination. Hang out at the counter with artists, writers, photographers, downtown business owners, tradespeople, musicians, and a host of colorful characters. Or choose a table near the sunny window. Enjoy breakfast with inventive menu items like omelettes and scrambles with names like Tuscan, Green Eggs and Ham, or Luciano. Come for lunch with friends, enjoy homemade soup or the best pastrami sandwich for miles around.  Or just have some homemade pie and a cuppa joe while reading the paper.

This is the place many regulars go to see friends, find out what is happening around town, share stories, enjoy a business lunch, or just to make a pleasant start on the day. Lots of independent freelancers come here before a solitary day in the home office, so much so that one professional photographer refers to the place as "Procrastinating Pinky's."

If the food were not such a draw, the atmosphere would be. Catch Pinky in one of his classic combos of paisley or plaid shirt and colorful striped apron. Enjoy Terry's plate-sized pancakes with fruit or chocolate chips. Be served by the best wait staff in town. This is a slice of Livingston at its best: humor, hospitality, homegrown authenticity, and good eats.

Pinky's has won Livingston Weekly's "Best of Livingston" awards for lunch, breakfast, and service.

Rich also plays keyboards with The Fossils, one of Park County's favorite bands, and he often sits in with The Ringling Five.
