Would you like to review a book?

I welcome reviews of books about the arts and design, and books by Livingston authors. Use comments if you are interested in submitting a book review. I’ll get back to you in email. Book reviews will appear under the CATEGORY “Review.” Arts reviews will be in that category, too. Reviews can be as brief as a paragraph or as long as 1,000 words.

Mitch McInnis poetry reading on March 30

Enjoy an Evening of Poetry and Fine Chocolate with poet Mitch McInnis at 7:00 PM on Friday March 30 at The Drawing Room, 117 East Callender Street. $7 admission. Limited seating; call 222-0023 for reservations. View the invitation.

Mitch McInnis is a former Bozeman resident who now lives in Portland, Oregon. His first book, “The Missing Shade of Blue,” a volume of experimental and lyric poems, was released in 2004. Mitch was one of the authors at The 2004 Montana Festival of the Book.

The Drawing Room is across from the Firehall Fitness Center, a few doors away from The Blue Slipper Theater. This event is highly recommended. The poetry is excellent, and then there’s the chocolate, all in the wonderful atmosphere of The Drawing Room.
